The RMCHS Natural Resource Team competed in the annual Reedley College Mid-Winter Field Day this past weekend. This contest is designed to measure the ability of the student to identify common fauna and flora of California and to test the students’ ability to develop and explain the pros and cons concerning natural resources issues. RMCHS placed first in both the team and individual in the following categories: Plant ID, Animal ID, Knowledge, Manipulative. RMCHS will represent the State of CA at the Nationals competition at Indianapolis, IN on October 2017.
Reedley Middle College High School was selected to receive the 2016-17 Exemplary Program Award. The award recognizes outstanding community college programs! This is a Board of Governors award, sponsored by the Foundation for California Community Colleges. RMCHS was recognized by the Board at the Board of Governors meeting in Sacramento on January 19, 2017.
