The Academic Awards Assembly for RMCHS was held at 5:30 PM on March 8 at the Reedley College Cafeteria. The evening started with hors d'oeuvres for the 200+ students and parents in attendance. Academic Awards are to honor students that have received a 3.5 or better GPA for their semester grades. The students that have achieved a 3.5 for the first time received their honor letter. There were a total of 25 freshmen, 32 sophomores, 19 juniors, and 30 seniors that were recognized for having a GPA above 3.5.
Students that were members of the California Scholarship Federation (CFS) were also acknowledged. CSF members that had 4 semesters of 3.5 or higher GPA received their Gold Cord. Gold Stoles were given to students that had 6 semesters of 3.5 or higher GPA.
