RMCHS was well represented at the Opening and Closing Competition

On November 7th, 2018, Reedley Middle College High School students competed in the East Fresno/Madera Section Opening and Closing Ceremony hosted by Reedley College.  RMCHS made it's presence felt by having 180 individual students who were broken up into 30 teams.  By far the largest number of entries at this competition in the entire region.  In addition to having the largest participation, RMCHS had great success with their performances.  In the High division, RMCHS FFA Officers team, consisting of Erica Sosa, Yazmin Bedolla, Gloria Becerra, Ivan Chavez, Thomas Pennebaker, and Madelyn Ansel took 2nd Place in the High Team division out of 15 High Schools.  From this same group, Gloria Becerra earned 1st Place Vice President award and Thomas Pennebaker earned 1st Place Reporter award.  In the Novice and Advance teams, RMCHS had multiple 1st Place and 2nd Place awards to cap off a very successful night.  Congratulations to all of the RMCHS Knights for all of their hard work and efforts preparing for this event!
